Hello, I'm John Suereth. I develop and program games primarily in Unity, using my strong knowledge of C# to create both 2D and 3D games. I'm also well versed in C++. In addition, I've become adept at using various tools for managing version control when working with larger teams.
I enjoy all aspects of creating and programming games, but I mainly focus on gameplay programming. I'm also interested in concepts such as procedural generation and shaders. My goal is to help bring a creative vision to life through my work, creating games that are enjoyable to play, have interesting mechanics, and are just plain cool!
In my free time, I love to learn new game-dev skills, stay up to date on the latest music, and, of course, play games. I love all genres, but I'm especially a fan of JRPGs, such as the Trails series, the Xeno series, and the Final Fantasy series. I'm also a big fan of rogue-likes and rogue-lites, like Enter the Gungeon, Slay The Spire, and Descenders.
If I'm not working, you can usually find me at home in Massachusetts on my couch playing games or watching something interesting while sitting with my good friend Broski (aka that nice cat).
